Description
David Niven, Vera-Ellen and Cesar Romero star in this 1951 British musical comedy film, directed by H. Bruce Humberstone. Niven plays rich but stuffy B. G. Bruno who is head of a successful greetings card firm in Scotland. Although his working life is awash with sentiment he never allows such a sign of weakness to extend to his private life. However, unbeknown to him Cupid has marked his Valentine card when a troupe of American actors arrive in town to stage a musical, and he soon starts to fall in love with Janet Jones (Vera-Ellen), one of the chorus girls.
